Dr. Monique Aguirre brings over 25 years of professional experience in healthcare and is a highly accomplished Doctor of Public Health. With 12 years of experience as a Mental Health therapist, she has become a pillar of perseverance and innovation in the industry. Dr. Aguirre is the founder of "Resilient Counseling, Wellness & Psychological Services, LLC" and *Resilient Assistance Wellness Care, LLC*, both based in Atlanta, GA. Guided by her powerful belief that “The Community is My Patient,” she is dedicated to transforming health outcomes through education, advocacy, and actionable strategies.
As a public speaker and facilitator, Dr. Aguirre consults with communities, corporations, and small businesses to address public health priorities and eliminate health disparities and inequities. She focuses on identifying emerging health risks, analyzing public health patterns, and implementing targeted solutions to improve behaviors and outcomes. Her work reflects an unwavering commitment to population health, ensuring communities are equipped with the knowledge and tools needed to create lasting change.

As the Chief Executive Officer of “Resilient Assistance Wellness, LLC”, she works to promote health recovery, stability, and compassionate care for individuals and communities.
Her journey into public health was inspired by her mentor, Dr. Swannie Jett, who encouraged her to pursue a Doctorate in Public Health (DrPH) after her International Psychology doctoral program at the Chicago School of Psychology came to an unexpected halt. Recognizing her tenacity and leadership as a healthcare executive, Dr. Jett’s advice proved pivotal. Today, Dr. Aguirre embraces her role as a change agent, utilizing her expertise in policy, health systems, wellness, and social-behavioral health to drive meaningful impact.
